Welcome! I am lover pretty lights and lenses, a maker of magical alternate realities, and a believer in making bold choices. I work in documentary, narrative, commercial, and music video.  I'm a director and cinematographer with a passion for character and story.

 

I am profoundly committed to stories of underrepresented people and the betterment of our world. I believe in the potential of media to uplift, empower, and unify. I help turn ideas into reality. I'm based in Los Angeles, but travel all the time.

  • Wrote and directed branded documentaries for: Barnes & Noble College, The International Institute of Rural Reconstruction, and Chesa Boudin for San Francisco District Attorney (2019)

  • Traveled to the Philippines, Cambodia, and Myanmar to shoot the documentary for IIRR in 2018

  • Cinematographer of multiple scripted and unscripted series for AwesomenessTV and Skybound Entertainment

  • Worked on projects for Buzzfeed Branded (Tasty and Nifty projects), Ball Is Life, Fox Studios, AllSaints, USC Loker School, and WNYC Studios

  • Wrote, directed, and produced USC MFA Thesis film: "Madrugada quebradiza: The Break of Day"

  • Member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers, the Chicana Directors Initiative, Women In Media, Women of Color Unite, and the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts

  • Love shooting film and still make person photography projects on medium-format film with a Mamiya 7 

  • Former competitive gymnast (elementary through high school) who still enjoys flipping around
